There are a number of reports available from Clarity, with categories ranging from Administrator to Service Based. To access the report library, click on the launcher, then click the "Reports" button. 

Types of Reports

The library is divided into sections. Open a section by clicking the down arrow on the far right of the screen. 

Many reports will have a brief description detailing the report's purpose. To open the description, click the button marked "More Info". 

Running Reports

There are two different ways to run reports: click  'Run' to run the report immediately, or 'Schedule' to run it at a later time. 

Schedule Reports

Click the down arrow to view the report name then click 'Schedule'. 

The same report parameters as 'Run' are shown, with one important difference: the 'Scheduled Process Date' field appears. It defaults to the current date, but you can change it with the calendar to run up to one month in the future. The system will automatically run the report on the date specified and notify you when it's complete. 

Different reports will have different criteria in order to run, so be sure to follow the prompts for the particular report you've chosen. 

A popup box will appear telling you your report is queued up and ready to run. 

Report Output Formats

When you begin to run the report, you'll have a choice of outputs. Typically, it's Web Page, PDF, or Excel. See article Clarity HMIS Report Output Formats for more information on outputs and how to read reports. 

Opening Reports

When the report is complete, a second popup box will appear. Open either by clicking "Open" on the "Report is Ready" popup box or the number box at the top right of the screen.

Custom reports built by the STEH HMIS team or users from your agency are available from the Data Analysis tab. Learn more about how to run custom reports here.
