Managed Care Organization (MCO) Questions

A new section of questions has been added to housing enrollments to better connect clients to services provided by Managed Care/Healthcare Organizations. This data will be collects for heads-of-household. These questions are intended to connect clients to additional services and programs through their healthcare providers.

On the enrollment screen, if the "Covered by Health Insurance" is toggled to YES, the following data collection elements will display.

If the client agrees to share their basic contact information with their Health Care provider, select YES.

The first question confirms the client has verbally agreed to share their contact information with their MCO. (Clients must have an active enrollment/account in the MCO to qualify.)

The additional questions confirm the client’s current contact information, barriers to accessing healthcare, and additional factors that may assist with eligibility for additional benefits. This additional data will not be collected for clients who do not agree to share data.

MCO’s will be provided with the answers to these specific questions, as well as, the Head-of-Household's name and date of birth through a secure directory.
