This article is referencing an error identified by HUD's Eva tool which the HMIS Team uses for their monthly Data Quality Health Checks. If you are unfamiliar with the Health Check process, please contact the HMIS Team.
HUD Guidance: This enrollment overlaps with another enrollment that would indicate a household spent the same night in different inventory beds. Please review the HMIS Dual Enrollments and HIC Duplicate Inventory Training Resource for more information.
How to correct: This is what HMIS considers an Overlapping Enrollment requiring a correction. Correct any inaccurate exit or move-in dates. Confirm with HMIS if dates are correct, as the error might be with the other agency involved in the overlap.
